Bourbon & Honey
Ingredients
- 2 ¾ oz. Basil Hayden - Preferred (If using a higher proof bourbon use 2 ½ oz.)
- 1 oz. Honey Water
- ¾ oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 dash Peychaud's Bitters
Directions
Bourbon & Honey
1. Add the following to a cocktail shaker without ice:
- 2 ¾ oz. Basil Hayden - Preferred (If using a higher proof bourbon use 2 ½ oz.)
- 1 oz. Honey Water
- ¾ oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 dash Peychaud's Bitters
2. Add ice to cocktail shaker and shake hard 15-20 times. Strain contents of the cocktail shaker into a Coupe or Martini Glass.
3. Garnish with a Thyme Sprig - (Note: Sprig should be able to fit on top of drink w/o leaning on glass rim)
Honey Water
1. Mix equal parts Honey and Boiling Water. Stir until thoroughly incorporated. Chill in refrigerator until ready to use.
